Methodology and Activities
For the reasons outlined above, Euronatura has launched a project to inform and promote the image
of cork amongst European citizens and wine producers. The project is based upon:
- Capacity Building - promote cooperation and knowledge-sharing on various aspects of cork, namely cork recycling;
- Advocacy and Market Support - favour changes in the purchase policies within the wine sector and of major wine distributers;
- A. Research on heritage - work on the historical richness of the sector (www.joaquimvierianatividade.com);
- B. Recycling research - research on case-studies in Europe;
- C. Creating an International Network of project partners;
- D. Extension of the research by Network project partners, produce books and seminars to bring together project partners;
- E. Implementation of new campaigns by project partners.
